Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026. This policy explains, in plain language, what the Future Life Report collects, what we compute from it, and the promises we make about both. The short version, which we repeat everywhere data handling comes up: We never sell your personal information. Your answers power your report and personalize what we show you. We only share specific results with a partner if you separately, explicitly choose to. Readings and chat are processed by Anthropic under contract.
What we collect
We collect your quiz answers, your email address (asked once, to save your progress and send your report link), and your first name if you choose to give it. We also record a coarse country or region from your IP address at the start of a session, basic session data needed to run the quiz, and — if you buy the complete report — payment confirmation from Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
What we compute
We make inferences: we compute personality and life-area scores from your answers. That includes Big Five personality estimates, your archetype, domain grades, a Life GPA, and wellbeing-related bands. We treat these computed scores as your personal information, with the same protections as the answers they came from. Wellbeing, health, and emotional-stability inferences get our strictest handling: they are used only to power your report and safety features, and are excluded from every export, every audience, and every partner payload — permanently.
What we never do
We never sell your personal information. We do not share your wellbeing, health, or personality scores for advertising, and we place no third-party advertising pixels on quiz or report pages. Ever.
AI processing
Your Reading and your conversations with Sage are generated by Claude, an AI model built by Anthropic. Anthropic processes your answers and messages under a contract that limits use to providing this service. Chat messages are retained for 12 months from your last activity, then deleted; messages flagged by our safety systems are retained for 90 days for review.
Aggregate research
We may publish aggregate, statistical findings (for example, "how 100,000 people define success"). Every published statistic is drawn from groups of at least 50 people (k-anonymity ≥ 50), and we never cross-tabulate wellbeing data with small demographic groups. Aggregates never identify you.
Sharing with partners — only if you ask
If we ever offer to connect you with a partner (for example, a financial planner reviewing your Money results), sharing happens only with your separate, explicit, per-purpose opt-in, given at the moment the offer appears — never bundled into signup or these terms, never pre-checked. Before anything is sent, we show you exactly what would be shared. Wellbeing, health, and emotional-stability data are never included, under any opt-in.
Deletion
One email to support@futurelifereport.test deletes everything: your answers, your computed scores, your report, your chat history, and any friend-feedback links. We complete deletion within 30 days and require the same from any partner you opted to share with. Payment records are retained only as long as the law requires.
Cookies
We use a session cookie to run the quiz and keep you signed in, and a lightweight analytics cookie on landing pages only. No advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking.
Your rights
You can access, correct, or delete your data at any time. California residents: we do not sell or share personal information as defined by the CCPA/CPRA, and we still provide a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link in the footer, honor it, and honor Global Privacy Control signals from your browser. You may also limit the use of sensitive personal information; our default already meets that standard.
Age
The Future Life Report is for people 16 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16; if we learn we have, we delete it.
